A resident of San Clemente, Coach Ricci grew up in Mission Viejo. His freshman year of high school, he attended JSerra High School where he played football and lacrosse.
After his freshman year, Coach transferred to Capo Valley High School where he graduated in 2015. During his time at Capo, he played Defensive End and earned Sea View League Honorable Mention and the Iron Man Award his senior season.
In addition to his one year at Tesoro working with the Defensive Line, Coach Ricci spent two seasons as the Freshmen Defensive Coordinator at Capo Valley and one season as the Varsity Defensive Line Coach at Laguna Beach High School.
The 2024 season will be his fifth year coaching high school football, but he has been around the game ever since a young age with a high school football coach as a father. This year, he has the privilege to coach the defensive line for Tesoro High School and transform our players into respectful and disciplined young adults. His motivation behind coaching youth football is the strong relationships that he has created with all of his players. Being able to see them reach their highest potential through his guidance and support motivates him to keep doing what he loves. Go Titans!
